3D Modelling and Scanning

Many engineering projects today benefit from 3D scanning and modelling. Capturing assets digitally — especially before relocation or modification — provides a reliable reference that reduces technical risk.

3D scanning delivers a topological record of plant environments. It supports asset quantification and enhances the creation of key project documents: piping isometrics, 3D models, P&IDs, plan views, sections, and elevations.

Software and Services

For over 20 years, EWS has led the field in modelling complex plant environments. Our proprietary software, ISOPlant, takes raw point cloud data and — combined with other engineering inputs — reverse-engineers detailed plant documentation.

ISOPlant consistently outperforms other modelling tools in producing usable, high-integrity reference documents.

ISOPlant is built on a SQL database and can be hosted either on a client’s infrastructure or securely on EWS servers. It enables real-time collaboration across global teams and integrates easily with asset management, maintenance, and planning platforms.
